Erin has always loved writing. This is her first year as a staff member on the Boise Highlights, and she couldn’t be happier about it. She aims to put pride into everything she does and works hard to meet her personal high standards. In her free time, Erin is a dancer. She is on three dance teams and enjoys all of the performances and competitions she participates in. After she graduates this year, she wants to study journalism at Arizona State University. Erin loves life and is always preaching about living with happiness and positivity.

The mascots of the 2018 Winter Olympics are the white tiger, Soohorang, and the black bear, Bandabi. The white tiger is said to represent protection and security for all involved in the games, and the black bear is said to represent the courage and willpower of the Korean people.
