Located on Main Street, Clockwise Escape Room sits near the heart of downtown Boise. They have a variety of puzzles to choose from, ranging from paranormal experiences to parties in vegas, there’s something for everyone. It’s suggested to book your escape room ahead of time as slots tend to become unavailable quickly on weekends. The price depends on how many people are included in the party, the more people going, the less money it is per person. The lowest being $25 per person and the highest being $38. Escape rooms can be a fantastic group activity for birthday parties or just to bond with friends. What brings people closer together than being trapped in a room together and needing to cooperate to solve a common problem?.

The experience of the Clockwise Escape Room is unique. While most escape rooms center around numbers and locks only, many of Clockwise’s puzzles require one to think outside of the box and in relation to the story of the room. Many of the puzzles involve hidden magnetic locks and sensors, which makes the experience all the more mystical. The rooms are very immersive, including full backstories, and some even including costumes. It’s easy to become fully engaged with the environment.

The puzzles are challenging, but not difficult enough to cause frustration or ruin the fun of the experience. There are unlimited hints, which definitely comes in handy in the Asylum room, which is rated a 4 out of 5 relating to difficulty. The puzzles are unconventional and unique, adding depth and excitement to the experience. It’s definitely recommended to communicate well with the others in the group, as many of the puzzles require some level of cooperation. The environment and opportunity to bond is guaranteed to result in a fun and humorous experience. It should be noted that many of the rooms (with the exception of Asylum) do contain material they may not be suitable for those with photosensitive epilepsy.
