Recently, Jojo Siwa has rebranded herself into something new. Let’s just say she did NOT “come back like a boomerang”. April 5, Jojo released a new song named Karma. Up until this year, the Nickelodeon star has released music for young targeted audiences. Her most recent song is all about how she’s a “bad girl” and even has a jaw dropping cuss word. In the music video she’s wearing a scandalous outfit and looks horrendous with the KISS style of makeup. There aren’t enough words to describe the agony I experienced while watching this video. Do yourself a favor and don’t watch it because there are things I wish I could unsee.
For a majority of Jojo’s life, she’s been a dancer, even making it on Dance Moms for two seasons. She must be a talented dancer. Wrong. The choreography in the new music video puts Abby Lee and the entirety of Dance Moms to shame. There was even a video of Abby Lee reacting to Jojo’s new video where she explicitly said, “Well we all have our regrets.” During this reaction video, you can tell a lot of it is forced compliments and not genuine. I wouldn’t be surprised if Abby Lee had to bleach her eyes out after watching the horrendous video. I’ve seen some other videos of Jojo dancing and she’s not horrible but the choreography in the video is so bad, I genuinely don’t think anyone could truly make it look good.
It’s been a whole week. An entire week that I haven’t been able to escape Jojo Siwa on my for you page. Every other video is people reacting to her awful music video. It’s a great strategy for publicity, but I’m one video away from deleting TikTok and throwing my phone out of a moving car. I am in too deep. As I’m writing this, her new song is stuck in my head. It reminds me of “What does the Fox say?”. They’re both annoying but somehow can’t get out of my head. Jojo has always made cringey TikToks. It’s only going to get worse. A couple years ago, she posted a Draco Malfoy thirst trap that wasn’t very appropriate for children’s eyes (even though she’s a child star). It even scarred me.
I can’t describe the agony I feel whenever I see Jojo Siwa. At first, I didn’t like her because of her childish manner and always wearing a bow along with her side ponytail. She’s always just been annoying. Now I don’t like her because she’s still annoying, thinks she’s a “bad girl” for saying a few cuss words, and just genuinely is a jump scare whenever I see her on social media. Send help. I don’t know how to get her off my For You Page; she’s everywhere.
