What is the Talk Tuah podcast? The Talk Tuah podcast is a recent podcast that has come out in the last three months. From a girl who got famous from making a raunchy joke during a street interview, and from this fame she has created the Talk Tuah podcast which has become a phenomenon. 

Why is it so popular was one of my first questions but as I dived in watching the episodes I realized that this is more than just a podcast. Instead it is a culture that has taken over our generations vocab and the way we think. For example, when I was listening to Homecoming by Kanye West, one of the lyrics is “Talk to her”. Instantly my brain went to the Talk Tuah podcast. 

Who is the Hawk Tuah girl? The Hawk Tuah girl is Hailey Welch. She was walking in New York and a street interviewer asked her a question and she responded memorably “Hawk Tuah” which propelled her into becoming famous. Recently she announced the creation of the Talk Tuah podcast where she interviews people, friends, and family members. 

Is the podcast actually good? The podcast offers entertainment, not information or education. It instead offers well-made dopamine hits, along with funny and entertaining quotes or phrases that you might find yourself adding into your own vocabulary. The conversations are often random, but are still funny. She also explains her rise to fame after she answered the street interviewer’s question, and how her life has changed for the better.

Should people watch it? I would not take the time to watch a whole episode as they are usually forty five minute long episodes of nonsense talk. Instead I would recommend watching clips or reels of the conversations as they offer the dopamine hit without having to go through the process of the intro and endless pointless banter. The podcast is nonsense, the only reason to watch it is for the funny parts which you can just find clips of instead of watching the full podcast.
