Kaiya Kearns is entering her Senior year at Boise High. This is her second year on the Boise Highlights staff, and she’s ecstatic to learn more about journalism and lead as an example. Kaiya has been studying photography for six years and is excited to get her work out into the world. She also has worked as a photographer at Treefort and was the youngest volunteer with a press pass. Kaiya is hoping to major in photojournalism and minor in forestry after leaving high school, and she knows taking this class and being a part of this team will help push her in that direction. While in the midst of starting a career, she also is the captain for the Brave Sensation Dance Team at Boise High.
