Kaiya Kearns is entering her Junior year at Boise High. This is her first year on the Boise Highlights staff, and she’s ecstatic to learn more about journalism. Kaiya has been studying photography for five years and is excited to get her work out into the world. She also has worked as a photographer at Treefort and was the youngest volunteer with a press pass. Kaiya is hoping to study and become a photojournalist after leaving high school, and she knows taking this class and being a part of this team will help push her in that direction. While in the midst of starting a career, she also plays soccer, basketball, and dances for Boise High.
