The Denver International Airport (DIA) is known for its mysterious and abnormal instances. These strange happenings have created a curiosity surrounding the airport and many demand their questions to be answered.

The building of the Denver Airport in 1995 was the beginning of the confusion surrounding it. The airport was built to replace Stapleton airport, however, there was no need for it. The airport had no new technological advancements or improvements. The only difference was the amount of space the airport was given.

The conspiracy theories start with an aerial view of the airport. The runways are laid out on all four sides of the terminals creating what could be interpreted as a swastika. This has led many to believe that there is something sinister going on in Denver with this fascist symbol on display.

No strange occurrence would be complete without a conspiracy theory based on the New World Order and Illuminati. At the entrance, there is a massive stone plaque dedicated to the sponsors of the DIA. In the center of the plaque, there is a big thank you to the New World Airport Commission, but this organization doesn’t exist.

These secret organizations are all tied together and allegedly control the world. The Freemasons are a real fraternity and community, and are thought to have ties to the Illuminati and have world control through the Earth’s elites. There are also strange markings on doors that were considered symbols of the New World Order, however this was disproved and correctly identified as letters written in Navajo language.

The statues scattered throughout the airport also have sinister energy. There are evil-looking gargoyles placed throughout baggage claim that give many people the creeps. There is also a controversial 32 foot blue horse with flaming red eyes at one of the entrances of the DIA. The horse nicknamed Blucifer, but formally named the Mustang, has a disturbing past.

Luis Jimenez was the original artist of the horse. During its creation, a piece of the sculpture fell on Jimenez, crushing and killing him. The late artist’s last piece was completed by his children Many also think the large rearing horse is a nod to the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, however it is a nod to the Denver Broncos football team mascot.

Even more artwork has created new conspiracies throughout the airport, specifically murals painted by Leo Tanguma. He created two 28 foot murals depicting strange images of young children in coffins, old women crying, and even a strange man in a gas mask stabbing a dove.

These many disturbing incidents at the Denver Airport lead to questions about what is really going on. Who can explain why such alarming things keep happening? Hopefully one day, these questions will be answered, as someone out there definitely knows the secrets.
